With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Giorgio Chiellini! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chiellini misses with a two punch combination.
Merrit jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Merrit clinches with his opponent.
Merrit blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Merrit avoiding damage as Chiellini throws knees to the body.
Chiellini breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chiellini throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Merrit. Merrit shoots in for a takedown but Chiellini shows good takedown defense.
Chiellini throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Merrit tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chiellini is in Merrit's guard. Chiellini pushes down on Merrit's leg and manages to get into half guard. Chiellini is figuring out what he wants to do next. Merrit is staying active underneath Chiellini, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Chiellini content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Merrit on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Chiellini wants to free his trapped foot but Merrit is holding on for dear life with his legs. Chiellini slips a nice elbow through Merrit's hands, connecting with Merrit's forehead.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Chiellini wants to free his trapped foot but Merrit is holding on for dear life with his legs. Chiellini controlling the action here. Merrit on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Chiellini passes the guard and advances to mount! Chiellini pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Merrit tries to hold on but Chiellini pushes him away. Chiellini prevents Merrit from getting the reversal. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chiellini landing shots from mount. Chiellini looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Merrit is in a horrible position here. Chiellini smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nastula shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Windsor's guard. Nastula trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Nastula works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Nastula is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Windsor as he works his way to full guard.
Windsor seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Nastula postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Windsor is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nastula, into his guard.
 Windsor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Nastula bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Windsor's guard.
 We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nastula would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown attempt by Margarita or perhaps it was just good defense by Ortiz, which made it look bad. Margarita misses with a combination
and Ortiz counters with a body kick that stops Margarita in his tracks momentarily. Margarita stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ortiz. Margarita throws a right hand that Ortiz ducks under and follows up with a left that Ortiz also avoids with ease.
Ortiz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ortiz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Margarita wants to get back to his feet but Ortiz is dominant here and he's now got Margarita's back! Ortiz scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Margarita is looking for a way out. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. You can see the frustration on Margarita's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Ortiz lands an elbow to the side of the head. Ortiz punches Margarita on the ear. Margarita is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Ortiz.

With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adonis Glenn! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Eddie Farnsworth.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glenn feints and then cracks Frost's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Frost down. A nice combination there by Glenn.
Frost has his takedown stuffed and Glenn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A decent looking cross lands there for Glenn. An inside leg kick lands from Glenn. Frost misses with a takedown and Glenn counters with a series of strikes. Frost will be more careful next time no doubt. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Glenn - that will leave a mark!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Frost looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Glenn is fending him off so far but Frost persists. Nope, Glenn circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Frost. That's going to take a lot out of him. Glenn scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Frost shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Glenn manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Frost wants to control from the top but Glenn keeps moving. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Glenn can do anything to dispel that myth.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Frost slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Frost wants to control from the top but Glenn keeps moving.
Frost thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Glenn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Glenn is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Frost is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Glenn can't keep his opponent in guard - Frost advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Glenn is looking to get back to is feet but Frost passes into side control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Frost is working to tighten his grip on Glenn's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Glenn has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Frost is really squeezing tight and eventually Glenn passes out! Frost breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King tries to close the distance and clinch but Maunders swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Good work by Maunders as he checks the leg kick. Horrible takedown attempt by Maunders or perhaps it was just good defense by King, which made it look bad.
King moves into range and clinches up with Maunders.
King pulls guard successfully.
Maunders lands a couple of elbows. Maunders postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maunders content to stall in guard here. King working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Maunders.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Maunders not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Maunders is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as King holds on and takes a little breather. King preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. King pulls Maunders in close to his closed guard and prevents Maunders from doing any damage or advancing position.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Maunders keeps the fight on the outside.
King has taken the fight to the clinch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. King fails to pull guard.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kimmo Peramaki (ranked 1347 p4p, 1350 weight class) and Addy Edison (ranked 156 p4p, 157 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Edison's choice of entrance music: Entry of the gladiators. Kimmo Peramaki had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Addy Edison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Nunes (ranked 1474 p4p, 1337 weight class) and Philip Marcus (ranked 146 p4p, 133 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nunes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nickelback - How You Remind Me. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mateus Nunes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Philip Marcus! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nunes tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Nunes throws a series of strikes that have Marcus backpedaling.
It looks like Philip Marcus has been cut. A nice leg kick from Marcus, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nunes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. It seemed like Marcus was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Nunes looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Marcus has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Nunes misses with a looping right. Marcus takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nunes cracks Marcus with a good jab. Marcus finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Nunes's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Marcus falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mateus Nunes! After the fight, Mateus Nunes was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wang lands a nice hook to Zuev's body. Zuev takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Wang has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Zuev throws a right and a left that both miss. Zuev is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wang. Wang misses with a hook
and Zuev counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Wang works the jab nicely. Zuev blocks a jab.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Zuev is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Zuev is trying to break the clinch but Wang has him pressed against the cage. Wang tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Zuev smiles and moves away.

Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Young Hung Wang. Well Wang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. and Farquharson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ro won't be happy with that. Ro is looking to get back to his feet here but Farquharson is keeping cool and he's managed to take Ro's back. Farquharson is working the ground and pound. Can Ro escape?
Farquharson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Ro is defending well though. Farquharson let's go of the attempt for now. Can Ro hold on?! Farquharson is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
