 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawrence looks to clinch and Kainga counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lawrence tries to clinch up. Kainga misses with a wild body shot. Lawrence slips a jab and a cross from Kainga.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brayden Patrick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Terror Chill! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and Reed Andrews.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chill punishes Patrick's body with a nice straight punch. Patrick shoots in looking for a takedown. Chill tries to sprawl out of it but Patrick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chill manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A little jabbing left from Chill on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Patrick is defended easily by Chill.
Patrick feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Patrick stopping the sweep attempt from Chill. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Patrick not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Patrick closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Chill trying to control here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Patrick slows the pace down in half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Chill is trying to maintain the position but Patrick is very close to passing his half guard. Chill is trying to get back to full guard. Patrick is taking a breather. Chill says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Chill loads up on a big right hand but Patrick slips the punch. Patrick appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Chill connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Brayden Patrick has been cut. Patrick shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Chill counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brayden Patrick. That's going to take a lot out of him. Patrick shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chill defends it nicely. Patrick tries for a takedown but Chill sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Patrick defending well as Chill loads up on a big left hand. Chill throws a lazy right hand but Patrick sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Chill throws a series of punches but Patrick avoids them all with ease. Patrick shoots in for a double leg but Chill sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Chill enables Patrick to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chill manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Patrick preventing the sweep. Patrick is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Terror Chill will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Brayden Patrick's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Chill closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Patrick! Chill dives in looking to finish! Patrick is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

and Kvaratskhelia counters with a single leg into guard. Thibodeaux didn't expect that. Kvaratskhelia distracts Thibodeaux with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Thibodeaux wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Kvaratskhelia is now in half guard.

Soszkowski has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Bollea seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Soszkowski can turn it around. Nice body punch from Soszkowski - that landed with a thud.
Soszkowski lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Soszkowski dips a shoulder and cracks Bollea with a mighty uppercut! Bollea falls back against the cage and Soszkowski unloads with a barrage of strikes! Bollea is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Soszkowski screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Stegfelt pulls Schafer in close to his closed guard and prevents Schafer from doing any damage or advancing position. Schafer postures up and lands a big shot to Stegfelt's brow. Stegfelt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Schafer on the ground. Schafer controlling from the top position. Stegfelt has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Schafer has passed into side control.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Schafer working away. What's Stegfelt going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Stegfelt is looking for a sweep. Schafer has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Stegfelt! Stegfelt tries to reverse the position but Schafer maintains control. Stegfelt reaches up to try and control the position but Schafer seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Stegfelt rolls and tries to escape and now Schafer has his back!

Stegfelt trying to control the position but Schafer manages to sink in the hooks. Stegfelt is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Schafer has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Stegfelt has freed his hand and lives to survive another� well, another couple of seconds at least!
Stegfelt is covering up but some of the strikes from Schafer are getting through and doing damage.

Schafer is rocked! Stegfelt lands with a short shot to the head. Schafer is still on wobbly legs! Can Stegfelt finish him? Stegfelt digs a right hand underneath Schafer's ribcage. Schafer let out a lung full of air as it connected. Schafer's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Stegfelt lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Schafer to his knees! Stegfelt keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Vasquez lands with a nice body punch. Vasquez avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Vasquez looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Scully keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vasquez prevents a body shot from Scully. Scully definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Scully.

Despite the aggression on Long's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Long throws a hook to the side of Pasquier's head but Pasquier sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Long shoots in and gets a takedown into Pasquier's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Long throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Pasquier is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Long is controlling him. Long postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Long prevents Pasquier from getting back to his feet. Long stays in close to Pasquier's body and controls the position. Pasquier is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Long throwing strikes but missing. Pasquier on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pasquier tries to get out of the position. Pasquier can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Long controls the pace.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Long's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pasquier connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Long scrambles back to his feet.
That has opened up Herschel Long's cut even more. Long throws a left and a right that both miss
and Pasquier counters with a right hand to the body. Long lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pasquier circles away quickly and effectively. Long moves out of range of the strikes. Pasquier connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Long moves away from the strike by Pasquier. Long fails with the takedown. Long misses with a takedown and Pasquier scores with a counter punch that sends Long to the canvas! Pasquier smells blood - he's punishing Long with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Long has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
