Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, JJ King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, George Smith! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Smith. Smith looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Some wild striking there from King.
King is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith. Smith is trying hard to land a takedown here. King sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. King seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Smith shoots in for a double leg but King sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. King feinted with a counter takedown. Smith misses with a takedown
and King counters by clinching up. JJ King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Smith. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith is fighting off a takedown attempt but King is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Smith to the mat. Smith regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. King keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Smith's head. Smith looking to control.
King tries to free his leg and advance position but Smith is retaining full guard.

King thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. King landing some decent shots from guard. King is in close to Smith's body, working some short punches and elbows. King lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. King connects with a couple of short punches. King working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Smith's head. King content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jyung Gong sizes up Aka with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Koa Aka has been cut. Aka stuns Jyung Gong with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Jyung Gong takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Aka avoids the body shot from Jyung Gong.

That has opened up Koa Aka's cut even more. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Aka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jyung Gong. Jyung Gong swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Aka gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The cut above Koa Aka's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Aka misses with a shot to the body and Jyung Gong counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Aka has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
