Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Butch Wang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Massiel Tomás! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tomás tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wang sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tomás somewhat. Tomás looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wang is fending him off so far but Tomás persists. Nope, Wang circles away and we're back to standing. Wang throws a body shot but no joy. Tomás fails to land the takedown. Wang swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Butch Wang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Massiel Tomás. Tomás bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wang's head.
Tomás closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wang's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tomás trying to control but Wang is working from the bottom. Wang pulls Tomás in close to his closed guard and prevents Tomás from doing any damage or advancing position.
Tomás drops back looking for a leg! Wang is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wang manages to kick Tomás off! Tomás jumps back into Wang's guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Tomás is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tomás accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Tomás drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tomás jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tomás is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tomás stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wang swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wang utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tomás trying to move into half guard but instead Wang has managed to sweep!

Tomás isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Wang stacks Tomás on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Wang! Tomás tries to bench press Wang off him but Wang keeps the position. Tomás is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wang off and has taken his back!

Tomás is looking for the choke from the back position but Wang is controlling his hands well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tomás working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Tomás is tightening it up a little... Wang has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Wang reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Wang taps out! Nice BJJ there by Tomás!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manion throws an overhand right that lands on Everett's shoulder, as Everett tries to avoid the shot. Manion throws a jab but it's blocked by Everett. Everett misses with a straight right. Nice defenses there by Everett. Everett misses with a straight right. Manion throws a body shot but no joy. Everett swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Everett takes one on the button. Manion throws a hook but Everett avoids it easily. Manion misses with a body shot.

Manion drives through with a takedown into Everett's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Manion not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Manion tries to free his leg and advance position but Everett is retaining full guard. Everett tries to land a sweep but no joy. Everett is trying to control the position but Manion postures up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Manion's corner is telling him to maintain position. Manion forces his way into half guard. Manion is controlling the pace.
Manion seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Everett for as long as he can get away with. Manion passes to side control. The referee asks Manion politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Manion prefers to stall for the moment though.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Everett is not content to let Manion control the position. Everett tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Manion wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Manion is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Everett is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Everett is not content to let Manion control the position.

 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Everett fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Manion manages to avoid it. Donk. Manion catches Everett right on the button with a cross. A shot to the liver by Everett. Beautiful body shot. Everett throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Manion takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Jack Manion has been cut. The fighters circling - Manion throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Manion jabbing away but nothing is landing. Manion throws a big shot that misses. Everett tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Manion was well out of range. Poor timing from Everett. A slow jab from Everett misses its intended target.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Manion scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Everett doesn't seem bothered though. Jake Everett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Manion just misses with a punch to the body.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Manion works his way into full mount! Everett tries to hold on but Manion pushes him away. Everett digs a good body shot into Manion's ribs. Everett's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Manion connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! and Manion counters with a lovely straight right hand! Manion is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Everett can do to turn this around? Manion takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Everett misses the shot to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Everett throws a series of punches but Manion avoids them all with ease. Everett misses with an uppercut
and Manion connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Everett jabs Manion to the body, keeping him at a distance.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Manion content just to control the position here. Manion continues to stall. Manion has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. This is a sustained period of stalling by Manion. Jake Everett has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jack Manion overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ettish is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Greer to keep the fight standing. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ettish creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chikorita takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Chikorita tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Shioda counters with a lovely straight right hand! Chikorita gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Chikorita shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Chikorita with a poor takedown and Shioda scores with a counter punch that sends Chikorita to the canvas! Shioda smells blood - he's punishing Chikorita with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Chikorita has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
