Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexey Turmarrov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Davide Farina! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Farina stuffs the takedown. Farina throws out a counter right but Turmarrov avoids it with no problem. Farina throws out a loose jab but Turmarrov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Farina pushes Turmarrov up against the cage in a clinch. Turmarrov takes a shot to the head. Farina lands a shoulder strike. Turmarrov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Farina gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Farina throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Turmarrovs head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turmarrov fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexey Turmarrov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Turmarrov is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Farina gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Farina lands an uppercut.

Oh Turmarrov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Farina fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Farina jumps guard.
Farina pulls Turmarrov in close to prevent any damage. Let's hope that Farina has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Farina doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Turmarrov seems to have got his legs back now. Farina wants to sweep here but Turmarrov controlling him for the moment.
Turmarrov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Farina manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Turmarrov has Farina in his guard.

Turmarrov has his feet on Farina's thighs here. He's pushed Farina off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Farina screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

With a record of 27 - 35 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Andor Kovacs! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kovacs throws a hook to the side of Mountain's head but Mountain sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kovacs throws a hook but Mountain avoids it easily. Mountain checks the leg kick nicely there.
Mountain misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mountain looks to score with a jab to the body but Kovacs is just out of range. Kovacs wants to counter with a clinch but Mountain pushes him away. Mountain keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kovacs. Mountain with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Kovacs throws a leg kick but Mountain sees it coming and checks it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mountain looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kovacs lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mountain backs up against the cage.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kovacs throws a leg kick and Mountain counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A chopping leg kick lands by Mountain. Kovacs jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Mountain throws a hook but Kovacs blocks it. Kovacs throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Mountain moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Mountain takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Kovacs tries a low kick but Mountain avoids it. Mountain looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kovacs throws a hook but Mountain avoids it easily. Mountain lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. A combination from Mountain does no damage. Kovacs tries to counter by closing the distance. Mountain walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kovacs checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Mountain throws a series of punches but Kovacs avoids them all with ease. Kovacs tries a head kick but it misses.
Mountain connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kovacs. Kovacs circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Mountain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kovacs circles away quickly and effectively. Some bone on bone action there as Mountain checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kovacs misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

letting Mountain counter with a right hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kovacs avoids a punch combination nicely.

Kovacs throws a head kick that misses. Mountain pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kovacs back to the cage. Mountain follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Mountain scores with a jab to the head.

Kari Mountain is winning the standup battle so far. Mountain tests Kovacs's chin there with a solid looking shot. Mountain clobbers Kovacs with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Mountain sizes up Kovacs with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Nice defenses there by Kovacs. Kovacs throws a poor cross that misses
and Mountain counters with a one-two to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A slapping leg kick lands for Mountain.

Mountain is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Kovacs fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Kovacs keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kovacs was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Mountain throws a right hand that Kovacs ducks under and follows up with a left that Kovacs also avoids with ease. A head kick misses from Kovacs. Mountain checks the leg kick nicely there.

Kovacs throws a combination that misses and Mountain counters with a one-two to the body. Mountain throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kovacs blocks the body kick.

It connects and Mountain has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Kovacs misses with an uppercut. Mountain saw that one coming. Mountain displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kovacs throws out the jab. Mountain moves out of range of the leg kick from Kovacs. Mountain swinging wildly here.

Kovacs darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Kari Mountain is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mountain lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kovacs has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kovacs and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Mountain misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Mountain counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mountain throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Kovacs counter with a right hand. Kovacs will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Mountain throws a big counter combination but Kovacs scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Andor Kovacs has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mountain throws a hook but Kovacs avoids it easily. Kovacs misses with a leg kick and Mountain counters with a leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Kari Mountain showed his dominance in that final round. Well Mountain has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Kanaani gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows West to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kanaani is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Kanaani wants to stand and escape but West is having none of it. West has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. West pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kanaani is keeping the position for now. West looking to sit in guard and control but Kanaani gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kanaani closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Alan West has been cut. Kanaani leaves West with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A jab from Kanaani misses. West moves forwards but Kanaani connects with a nice, crisp jab.
West is rocked! Kanaani is looking to chop away at West's legs. Kanaani fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked West out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Mehdi Kanaani! After winning the bout, Mehdi Kanaani thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vieira rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Martinez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Martinez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Vieira. Martinez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vieira to score with a decent uppercut.
Martinez moves into the clinch. Vieira keeps control of Martinez as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. With the fighters up against the cage, Martinez throws an elbow but misses.

Martinez is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Martinez lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Martinez misses with a straight left. Vieira fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Martinez on the side of the head. Vieira cracks Martinez with a right hand to the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vieira gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Martinez lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Both fighters working to control the clinch. Vieira seems to have recovered his senses. Vieira content to slow the pace in the clinch.

He's just covering up as Martinez starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
