Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kelvin Armstrong (ranked 25304 p4p, 25319 weight class) and Paxton Becker (ranked 374 p4p, 386 weight class). Kelvin Armstrong is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kelvin Armstrong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paxton Becker! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Becker feints and as Armstrong raises his hands in defense, Becker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Armstrong wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Becker manages to pass to side control.
Becker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Armstrong trying to control but Becker postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Becker trying to control the action but Armstrong is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Armstrong is trying to get back to full guard.

Armstrong seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Becker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Armstrong throws a quick counter head kick but Becker was just out of range. Armstrong gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Becker counters with a nice body kick.

With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dion Fitzwater! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fitzwater misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Arentov seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. An inside leg kick lands from Fitzwater.
Arentov rushes Fitzwater and presses him up against the cage. A bit of stalling here from Arentov.

Fitzwater drops Arentov with a big knee straight up the middle! Arentov is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Oh Arentov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fitzwater lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Arentov backwards. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fitzwater tries a knee to the head but Arentov blocks it.

Arentov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fitzwater walks away with a smile on his face. Arentov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Arentov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fitzwater is fending him off so far but Arentov persists. Nope, Fitzwater circles away and we're back to standing. Fitzwater goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Arentov feinted with a counter takedown.

Smith comes into the arena with Beckham blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Kidd throws a body shot but no joy. Kidd thows a leg kick but John checks it and John counters with a straight punch to the midsection. John lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
John lands a jab-cross combination. Kidd throws a push kick but John slaps the foot to one side. John cracks a nice hook into Kidd's ribs. Kidd throws the left hand but John avoids the punch easily. Despite the aggression on John's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. This has been an exciting period of action! John fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Kidd misses with a wild body shot. John moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. John lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. John throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Kidd stumbling backwards into the cage! Kidd bounces back off the cage towards John, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! John lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! John celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

I was talking to Cloud's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Highlander ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Highlander no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Highlander keeping moving, preventing Cloud from controlling successfully. Highlander looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Cloud drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cloud jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Cloud forces his way into half guard. Highlander blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cloud.

Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Nice defenses there by Yoo.

Yoo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Yoo works to advance to full mount. Brooks defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brooks can do anything to dispel that myth.
Yoo is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Brooks to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Brooks shrugs it off. Yoo controlling the pace for now.
Yoo is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Brooks is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Brooks flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Yoo anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Brooks and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Yoo slips an arm under Brooks chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Yoo has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Yoo is squeezing on Brooks like an anaconda would it's prey. Brooks fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerk McWanker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Capot! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Capot scores with a jab to the body. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Capot is defended easily by McWanker. McWanker misses the shot to the body. McWanker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Capot gets a double leg takedown into McWanker's guard. Capot tries to free his leg and advance position but McWanker is retaining full guard.

Capot is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McWanker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. McWanker working a defensive guard here.
Capot's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. It looks like Capot might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
McWanker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Capot gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McWanker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Capot can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Capot trying to control the position from guard on top but McWanker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Capot connects with a couple of short punches. Capot controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Capot advances to half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Capot seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McWanker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Capot is taking a breather. McWanker says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

McWanker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Capot defends it easily. Capot is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McWanker keeping moving, preventing Capot from controlling successfully.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. McWanker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McWanker misses with a double jab.
Capot misses with a wild body shot. Capot throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Capot dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Capot has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing McWanker to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Capot is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - McWanker pulls down on the head and he's put Capot to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jerk McWanker! As Jerk McWanker got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I just touched this boy, pause. Im coming for that ass.
