Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Montgomery Scott (ranked 4907 p4p, 4848 weight class) and Kareem Ford (ranked 465 p4p, 461 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kareem Ford was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott swings for the body but Ford moves out of range.
Ford's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Scott connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ford scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Kareem Ford has been cut.
Ford misses with an uppercut.
Scott uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ford.
Ford looks to score with a jab to the body but Scott is just out of range.

Scott feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ford sprawling to the canvas! Ford rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Scott finish him?!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Scott drops Ford with a straight right hand, right on the button! Scott follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

A very excited looking Montgomery Scott rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Manduano feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
