Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tahboule Alawi (ranked 2973 p4p, 2645 weight class) and Felix Jaroslav (ranked 223 p4p, 204 weight class). Alawi comes into the arena with The Ruler of Everything blaring out of the sound system. Jaroslav comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Sound of Running Feet kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Christ pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Kawiwasulu tries desperately to hold on but Christ is relentless in his assault! As Kawiwasulu receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Christ away and this one is in the books!

Valentine throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Biden cracks Valentine on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Valentine falls backwards against the cage. Biden follows up with more strikes that drop Valentine to his knees. Biden keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Valentine! This one is all over!

Main event

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mate Orsic (ranked 387 p4p, 249 weight class) and Conor Lee (ranked 48 p4p, 32 weight class). Orsic comes to the cage accompanied by KRS One - Rappaz R. N. Dainja. Mate Orsic had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Conor Lee was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Lee lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Lee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Orsic.

Orsic shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lee is trying to defend but Orsic finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Lee gets full guard.
Orsic is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Orsic wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.

Lee is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Orsic is keen to just control but Lee is a slippery customer.

Orsic goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Lee turns into him and now he's in Orsic's guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lee moves out of range as Orsic strikes.
A slapping leg kick lands for Lee.
Lee takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lee takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Mate Orsic is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Orsic throws out a loose jab but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Lee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Orsic can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lee tries to bench press Orsic off him but Orsic keeps the position.
Lee is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Orsic is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lee can do to turn this around?

Orsic looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
