The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Combs lands a jab to the head.
Combs misses with a straight right.
Timothy Combs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Combs throws a jab when Pauli was well out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Combs has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Pauli takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nice takedown defense from Pauli. No joy for Combs on that attempt.

and Pauli counters with a crisp right hand that drops Combs! Pauli lets Combs back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Wolfgang Pauli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timothy Combs.

Combs throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Combs seems to have recovered his senses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woerner does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Woerner scores with a body shot.

Gayweather clinches up with Woerner and pushes him back against the cage.

Gayweather's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Woerner thows a left - swing and a miss!
Woerner throws a low kick but Gayweather avoids it.
Woerner digs a good hook to Gayweather's body.
A punch lands to the side of Gayweather 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Gayweather takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Woerner takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Gayweather looks for a takedown but Woerner sprawls well.
Woerner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Gayweather tries to counter by closing the distance.
Gayweather takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Gigi Woerner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Woerner loads up on a big right hand but Gayweather slips the punch.
Gayweather is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Woerner misses with a body shot.
Woerner smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Woerner walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Gayweather drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Woerner swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Gayweather's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
