Three working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stafford doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stafford manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stafford has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Three to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Stafford is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Three pulls down on the head and he's put Stafford to sleep! This one is all over!

Chai scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

and Chai counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Wook looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chai lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Chai throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Bates tries to clinch up but Gong pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Bates to the mat! Bates covers up and Gong unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sean Falco!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falco tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mnusk defends well and Falco ends up having to push Mnusk into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mnusk connects with a nice looking jab.
Mnusk fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Mnusk lands a left and a right that send Falco crashing to the mat, dazed. Mnusk thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Sean Falco has been cut.
Mnusk definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Falco walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Falco limp body while Mnusk jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Elo Mnusk!
After winning the bout, Elo Mnusk thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
The defeated Sean Falco had this to say: 'I want to thank the fans for coming out and supporting me. I know this one is a tough loss but I promise I will come back stronger and better than before.
