The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koga feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've been hearing good reports from Koga's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Bowers lands a big uppercut and Neckbreaker crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Neckbreaker looks OK. Bowers waves Neckbreaker back to his feet!
It looks like Slammy Neckbreaker has been cut.

Bowers cracks Neckbreaker with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bowers has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Neckbreaker to stand back up!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Farquharson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
