The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson misses with the combination.
Thompson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nice sprawl there from Thompson as Caceres shoots in.
Thompson leaves Caceres with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Caceres has closed the distance and engaged Thompson in a clinch.

Caceres tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Caceres bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Thompson sneaks out the side door and pushes Caceres away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Caceres has been working on his balance at Shinobi Martial Arts & Ninjutsu , so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Thompson.

Thompson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Caceres circles away quickly and effectively.

Dave Thompson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Caceres shoots in for a takedown but Thompson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thompson is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Caceres has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Thompson is tapping! This fight is all over!

After the fight, Rickson Caceres was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
