Undercard bout

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hero Primo (ranked 2836 p4p, 2149 weight class) and Sheikh Mahmut (ranked 130 p4p, 271 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Primo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A shot to the liver by Mahmut. Beautiful body shot.
Primo misses with a hook

and Mahmut counters with a crisp one two that drops Primo! Mahmut thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Primo to his feet! Primo is in big trouble!
Primo is rocked!
Primo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mahmut instigates a clinch.
Oh Primo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mahmut has got his arm under Primo's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Primo has spun round into Mahmut's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Primo wants to pass the guard but Mahmut is keeping the position.
Primo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mahmut's guard.
Mahmut felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Mahmut really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Primo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
