Clarkson darts in looking for a takedown but Maenpaa gets double underhooks and turns Clarkson into the cage.
Maenpaa has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Maenpaa fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Maenpaa jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Clarkson shoots in looking for a takedown but Maenpaa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Clarkson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Clarkson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hudson Clarkson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clarkson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Clarkson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maenpaa tries to avoid it but Clarkson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maenpaa to the ground. Maenpaa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Darken Rahl.
