Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Sven was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lee Huang!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kung Li!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huang connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Kung Li has been cut.
Huang lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Huang throws a hook but Li blocks it.
Huang ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Huang scores with a nice head shot.
Li missing with a left hand there. Huang was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Good standup being displayed there by Li as he connects with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Li is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Huang.
Huang is looking to counter with head kicks.
Huang takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Huang throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Huang ducks under a wild hook from Li.
Li throws a poor cross that misses
and Huang counters with a straight right hand.
Huang lands a big head kick that sends Li tumbling to the mat! Huang takes a step backwards and waves Li back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Li is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
BOOM! Huang lands a beautiful left hook that drops Li. Li tries to recover but Huang is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Li lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lee Huang!
