The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diesel moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Nomak throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Diesel looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Diesel misses with a wild body shot.
A punch lands to the side of Nomak 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Frank Nomak has been cut.
Nomak takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Diesel lands with a nice body kick.
Nomak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Diesel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nomak walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Diesel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Nomak is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Diesel is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Diesel lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Nomak up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Diesel from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Nomak's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Nice cross by McDormit.
McDormit takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
McDormit fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Timms on the side of the head.
Timms has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McDormit finds it's way round the side to connect with Timms's head.
Timms ducks right into an uppercut from McDormit.
Timms takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

and McDormit counters with a two punch combo.
Oh Timms is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It's a brutal combination of punches from McDormit! Timms is backing up but he can't get away as McDormit lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Timms and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Lefty Lopez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lopez throws a sloppy head kick and Bronze moves out of range easily.
Bronze throws a jab but it's blocked by Lopez.
