8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rauno Viittala! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Viittala lands a nice looking body shot.
Viittala scoring well with a low kick there.
Viittala lands a jab-cross combination. Viittala scores with a jab to the body. Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Viittala as he jumps to the side. Gracie drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Viittala tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Gracie tries to advance to mount but can't. Gracie tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Gracie goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Viittala rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gracie's guard! Nice work there by Viittala! Gracie working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Viittala has passed into half guard!

Gracie is not content to let Viittala control the position. Viittala performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Gracie on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Viittala stands up and beckons Gracie to join him on the feet. A slapping leg kick lands for Viittala.
Viittala comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Viittala's waist but Viittala gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Viittala closes the distance and clinches. Viittala gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Viittala creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Viittala tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Viittala avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Viittala breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Viittala lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Viittala cracks Gracie with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Gracie takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Viittala throws a quick inside leg kick. Gracie misses with a takedown and Viittala counters with a lovely straight right hand! Viittala lands a nice shot that snaps Gracie's head back.
Rauno Viittala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Viittala connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gracie momentarily.
Viittala lands with a shot to the body. Viittala displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Viittala throws a series of strikes that have Gracie backpedaling.
Gracie tries to keep at a distance but Viittala has taken the fight into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Viittala will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gracie up against the cage. Gracie takes a shot to the head.

Viittala is pressed up against the cage. Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Viittala down to the mat. Viittala avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Gracie throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Viittala counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gracie thinking. Viittala connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Rauno Viittala is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Viittala dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gracie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Viittala. Gracie avoids the head kick by Viittala.
Gracie takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gracie takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Viittala feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gracie's calf. Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Viittala counters with a lovely straight right hand! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rauno Viittala dominated that round. That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Viittala scores with a decent looking hook. A lazy left from Viittala finds it's target. Gracie walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Viittala has managed to clinch.

Gracie misses with a takedown and Viittala makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Gracie misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Viittala makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Gracie takes a body punch but keeps moving. A nice inside leg kick there by Viittala. That's going to slow Gracie down. Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Viittala counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Viittala buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gracie takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Viittala throws a nice outside leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Viittala scores with a nice body kick.

Gracie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Rauno Viittala seems to be getting the better of the standup. Viittala throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gracie takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Viittala throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gracie on the side of the head. Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! It's a brutal combination of punches from Viittala! Gracie is backing up but he can't get away as Viittala lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Gracie and ends the fight. Great knockout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Longez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Beta moves away. Beta is looking to land body kicks. Longez misses with a body shot.
Beta tries to move into range but Longez moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Beta scores with a hook to the body. Longez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Beta misses with a jab, cross combination.
Beta fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Longez, pushing him back against the cage. Longez managing to block the knees to the body from Beta.
Beta wants the takedown. Longez is fighting it off but Beta persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Longez's guard against the cage. Beta sitting in guard here, content to control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Longez keeping moving, preventing Beta from controlling successfully.

Longez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beta manages to avoid it. Beta ducks under a wild hook from Longez. Beta swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Longez is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Miles throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Calaveras head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Miles avoids a wild elbow strike from Calavera. Miles scores with a shot to the side of Calavera's head. Miles using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Calavera has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Miles digs a right hand into Calavera's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Calavera's gas tank. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Miles cracks Calavera with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A chopping leg kick lands by Miles. Miles connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Miles scores with a crisp jab that stopped Calavera in his tracks. Miles connects with a nice looking jab.
Calavera shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Miles as he avoids it easily. Miles closes the distance and clinches. Calavera wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Miles with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in the clinch, Miles scores with a nice short uppercut. Miles prevents Calavera from breaking the clinch. Calavera on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Calavera looking to slow down the pace here. A nice glancing elbow lands by Calavera. Miles keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Calavera's efforts to push away. Miles misses with a short punch on the inside. Calavera is looking to break free of the clinch but Miles has double underhooks. Calavera escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Miles takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Miles scores with a punch to the head. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Calavera is defended easily by Miles. Miles lands with an uppercut that bounces Calavera off the cage and back into rage. Calavera changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miles tries to avoid it but Calavera manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miles to the ground. Miles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Miles has managed to clinch.
Miles lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. The referee is keeping an eye on Calavera - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Calavera is trying to maintain a safe position but Miles gets an underhook and turns Calavera into the cage.

Miles digs a right hand underneath Calavera's ribcage. Calavera let out a lung full of air as it connected. Miles lands a hook to the side of the head. Calavera wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Miles lands a nice uppercut. Manuel Calavera has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Miles. Wes Miles seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Miles trying to land knees to the body.
Calavera pushes off an throws an elbow but Miles leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Calavera. Wes Miles is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Miles lands a shot to the body. Miles working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Calavera tries to break free but Miles pushes him back against the cage. Nice body punch from Miles - that landed with a thud.

And that's the end of the fight! Wes Miles comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Miles has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lyoton tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Osorio is able to avoid easily. Lyoton scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Lyoton lands with a good body shot. Osorio closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Osorio throws a leg kick and Lyoton counters with a nice uppercut. Lyoton keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Osorio. Lyoton is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. A good leg kick by Lyoton. Lyoton throws a front kick that sends Osorio stumbling back into the cage. Osorio doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Good leg kick by Lyoton there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lyoton throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
