Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baldur Torsten (ranked 83 p4p, 632 weight class) and Yka Sonni (ranked 12 p4p, 83 weight class). With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Baldur Torsten!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yka Sonni!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonni fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Torsten avoids it really well and circles away.
Sonni walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Torsten checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Sonni swings for the body but Torsten moves out of range.
Sonni shoots in for a takedown but Torsten shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A quick step to the side and Torsten tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sonni misses the jab.
Torsten misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sonni.

and Torsten cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sonni dives in and scores a takedown into Torsten's guard.
Torsten is looking to stand back up but Sonni counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Torsten.

Torsten wants to control the action here but instead Sonni manages to pass to full mount!

Sonni takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Torsten defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Sonni.
Torsten tries to control Sonni's body but Sonni pushes him off. Torsten squirms to his side and now Sonni has his back!
Sonni has the hooks in. Torsten is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Sonni has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Torsten is in real trouble here. Sonni gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Torsten is tapping out! Sonni wins by rear naked choke!
