The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong swings for the body but Mammadov moves out of range.

Kong feints and as Mammadov raises his hands in defense, Kong changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mammadov wants to stand up but Kong is controlling him.

Mammadov is looking for a triangle but Kong pushes his legs off easily.

Mammadov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kong is aware though and is defending well.
Kong stands and throws Mammadov's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Mammadov is trying to get back to half guard.

Mammadov is wriggling around trying to escape but Kong has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Mammadov taps out and Kong picks up the big win! Great work there by Kong!

A very excited looking Hong Kong rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Okongwu (ranked 281 p4p, 622 weight class) and Deon Big Daddy (ranked 41 p4p, 80 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Okongwu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Show Stop - REASON. Big Daddy has chosen Big Daddy Kane - Smooth Operator as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
