The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trance throws a right and a left that Lou avoids nicely.
Lou wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Lou has closed the distance and engaged Trance in a clinch.
Lou trying to land knees to the body.
Lou tries to score a body lock takedown but Trance shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Trance blocking some punches.

Lou gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Trance tries to kick Lou off in order to stand up. Lou Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Lou in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Lou misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Hawthrone drops back looking for a leg! Hererra is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hererra manages to kick Hawthrone off! Hawthrone jumps back into Hererra's guard.

Hawthrone is standing up over Hererra. Hererra looks to escape but Hawthrone dives into side control.

Hawthrone has hold of Hererra's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hererra seems comfortable defending it but Hawthrone has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hererra is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hererra is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hawthrone couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Lander tries to bum rush Kiely with a series of wild strikes but Kiely uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
