The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mayhem stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Duvernay swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mayhem slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Duvernay takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Duvernay counters with a nice right hand that sends Mayhem toppling to the canvas! Mayhem scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Duvernay finish him?!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mayhem gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Duvernay gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Evan Duvernay decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
