Sasaki bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McCarty's head backwards.
Sasaki lands a big uppercut and McCarty crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but McCarty looks OK. Sasaki waves McCarty back to his feet!
Jeez, Darren McCarty's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sasaki throws out a loose jab but McCarty uses good head movement to avoid it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sasaki .
McCarty tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sasaki swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Sasaki swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Sasaki lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.
Sasaki has a couple of punches blocked by McCarty.

A head punch on the inside from Sasaki fails to land.
McCarty is trying to pull guard but Sasaki turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch.
Sasaki tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Sasaki lands a left hand that snaps the head of McCarty backwards.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Darren McCarty's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
