Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Santos (ranked 5411 p4p, 7028 weight class) and Greg Bustack (ranked 514 p4p, 588 weight class). Greg Bustack struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Smith closes the distance and clinches up with Ostlund , looking for a takedown. Smith pushes Ostlund against the cage but Ostlund circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Travis Ostlund has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Smith.

Travis Ostlund seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smith looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ostlund with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Smith counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ostlund slaps away a takedown attempt from Smith, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ostlund is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ostlund is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Smith can do to turn this around?

Ostlund changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Ostlund manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Chan lands a head kick. Totters smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Mark Totters has been cut.
Chan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Totters walks straight into a right hand from Chan - that's dropped him! Chan jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Totters from any more punishment! Totters complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

and Mogweister counters with a head kick that drops Kempton to the mat! Kempton scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Kempton switches off momentarily and Mogweister cracks him with a monster right hand! Kempton topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Mogweister dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Mogweister !

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Neil (ranked 975 p4p, 860 weight class) and Chief Zapata (ranked 152 p4p, 136 weight class). Neil kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Linkin Park - In the end. Luke Neil has the better chin. Neil is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Zapata is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Zapata flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Neil anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Zapata and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Neil slips an arm under Zapata chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Neil has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Neil is squeezing on Zapata like an anaconda would it's prey. Zapata fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
