Rogan dives in and grabs Sitsongrit's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sitsongrit pushes down on Rogan's head and hops out.
Sitsongrit appears to be looking for a big counter.
Rogan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sitsongrit defends well and Rogan ends up having to push Sitsongrit into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A quick step to the side and Sitsongrit tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Sitsongrit decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Sitsongrit in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Rogan tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sitsongrit!

Vos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Vos seems to be working for a kimura but Wonder defends the submission attempt.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Vos thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wonder's head.
Vos wants to take a breather but Wonder is having none of it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wonder can do anything to dispel that myth.

One Wonder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wonder lands a big uppercut and Vos crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Vos looks OK. Wonder waves Vos back to his feet!
Oh Vos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wonder scores with a hook to the body. Vos takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wonder sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Vos's defenses. It connects perfectly with Vos's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

I was talking to Matsuzaka's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Giuliani swings wildly with an uppercut but Matsuzaka uses good head movement to avoid it.
