Wright leaves Pikachu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pikachu shoots in for a takedown but Wright shows good takedown defense.

Pikachu goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wright has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Pikachu but great work by Wright.
Wright misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Wright tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wright has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Pikachu is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Wright defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Wright has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Pikachu is trying to stick to Wright's back but Wright is turning into Pikachu. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Pikachu's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Wright.

That was a close second round but I would say that Detektyw Pikachu will probably get the nod.

Wright looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pikachu with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Wright is nestled in close to Pikachu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Felix manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Vazzappo on his heels. He'll look to pass Vazzappo's guard now, I'm sure.
