The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coyote misses with an attempted mid kick.

and Murphy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Murphy is looking to work some ground and pound but Coyote has wrist control.
Coyote is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Murphy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Coyote has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Murphy has managed to get both his arms back between Coyote's legs - danger averted.

Murphy throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Coyote stumbling backwards into the cage! Coyote bounces back off the cage towards Murphy, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Murphy lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Murphy celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Cathail Murphy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

That was a close second round but I would say that Yuri Gagarin will probably get the nod.
