Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Malachi Lawrence (ranked 2918 p4p, 345 weight class) and Aramis Knox (ranked 1295 p4p, 175 weight class). Knox has chosen You're Going Down | Sick Puppies as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence throws a right hand that Knox ducks under and follows up with a left that Knox also avoids with ease.
Lawrence uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Knox.
Lawrence attempts a counter takedown but Knox avoids it well and moves away.
Knox has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lawrence tries to close the distance and clinch up but Knox swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lawrence shoots in looking for a takedown but Knox manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lawrence's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alexei Babinski spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
