The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow with a lazy takedown attempt
and Lizard connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Lizard ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lizard lands a jab to the head.
Lizard shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Shadow eats them both and turns towards Lizard to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shadow.
Shadow throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lizard's waist but Lizard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shadow off to one side.
Samuel Lizard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chief Shadow.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Bizihwaeile (ranked 2684 p4p, 148 weight class) and Kisada Hida (ranked 3074 p4p, 166 weight class). Bizihwaeile comes to the cage accompanied by Been Had . Hida has chosen Noisestorm - Crab Rave as his entrance music. Santiago Bizihwaeile had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!
