The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tennant slips a straight right by Dee.
Dee moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Dee cracks Tennant with an open hand slap.
Dee uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Tennant lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Inspektor Dee has been cut.

A little feinted left hand from Tennant on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

A jab-cross combination lands for Dee and sends Tennant crashing to the mat! Dee follows him down to the mat - Tennant regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Dee lands a high kick to the side of Tennant's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Dee dives into guard, looking to finish.

Tennant is rocked!

Dee gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Tennant takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A nice inside leg kick there by Dee. That's going to slow Tennant down.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vecellio, as that shot connected.
Vecellio throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lazzyie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Vecellio cracks Lazzyie with a right hand to the side of the head.

Lazzyie shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lazzyie slips a nice elbow through Vecellio's hands, connecting with Vecellio's forehead.
Lazzyie working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Vecellio pushes Lazzyie off looking to stand but Lazzyie dives back in and keeps control.
Vecellio avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lazzyie.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lazzyie working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Lazzyie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vecellio's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lazzyie is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Lazzyie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vecellio with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wildhauser looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Damiani is fending him off so far but Wildhauser persists. Nope, Damiani circles away and we're back to standing.

Wildhauser doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Damiani comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Wildhauser stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Damiani is on him like rabid pit bull! Wildhauser slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

A very excited looking Massimo Damiani rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
