Day swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Firenzi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Day paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Day throws out a counter right but Firenzi avoids it with no problem.
Day looks to land a left hand but Firenzi moved out of range nicely.
Firenzi misses with a looping left.
Day swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Firenzi misses with a few strikes there.

Castellana finds Kempton's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Kempton flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Castellana lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Kempton will be OK.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Cruzeiro engages and cracks Overlord with a massive lead left hook - Overlord tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Cruzeiro is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

OMalley wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Thighpunch, who protects the arm well.

OMalley goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Thighpunch rolls with the submission and now he's on top in OMalley's guard! Nice work there by Thighpunch!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as OMalley holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
OMalley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Thighpunch manages to get himself to full guard.
