Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mullen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rinzai manages to avoid it.

Rinzai fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mullen, pushing him back against the cage.
Mullen lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rinzai takes a shot to the head.

Mullen manages to break the clinch.
Mullen throws a body punch but Rinzai moves out of range.
Rinzai gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Mullen drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Rinzai right on the button. Rinzai goes down! Mullen follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Mullen gets the win via TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bertrand pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Phol has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bertrand is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Phol cracks Bertrand with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bertrand tries to move into range but Phol moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Sebastian Bertrand has been cut.
Bertrand works the jab nicely.

It looks like Mfer Phol has been cut.
Bertrand slips a straight right by Phol.
Bertrand looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Phol scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
The fighters circling - Bertrand throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Phol throws a counter combo.
Phol looks to throw the jab but Bertrand is out of range.
Mfer Phol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch lands to the side of Bertrand 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Bertrand throws a right and a left that both miss.
Phol throws a big shot that misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bertrand moves out of range as Phol strikes.
Phol lands with a nice body punch.
Phol lands a nice shot to the body.
Phol throws the left hand but Bertrand avoids the punch easily.
Phol lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Bertrand loads up on a big right hand but Phol slips the punch.
Phol lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Phol bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Sebastian Bertrand's cut is getting worse.
Phol cracks Bertrand with a hook to the temple - Bertrand is on wobbly legs here! Phol swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Bertrand falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Phol wins by TKO!
