The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elukka punishes Smith's body with a nice straight punch.
Elukka moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Elukka throws a right and a left that Smith avoids nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Elukka lands a nice shot to the body.
Smith goes for a double leg but Elukka avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Elukka continues to drive forward.
Elukka stuns Smith with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Smith really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Benedetti connects with a crisp jab.
Beinhocker is still on wobbly legs! Can Benedetti finish him?
Benedetti cracks Beinhocker with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Beinhocker tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Benedetti pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Beinhocker is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Seamus MacNamara.
Well MacNamara has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
