The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mitchell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Slam looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Mitchell has picked Slam up and slammed him! Slam can't keep hold of the triangle and Mitchell manages to pass to side control!

Mitchell remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Fury closes the distance and clinches up with Bumanov, looking for a takedown. Fury pushes Bumanov against the cage but Bumanov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Red.
Red scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Asznee needs to keep his hands up - Red had a free shot at his head there.
Red lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Asznee is defended easily by Red.
Red throws a counter combo.

Asznee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Red has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Asznee has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Asznee really is a fat lump.

Asznee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Red is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Red won't enjoy being in this position. Asznee looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Red is tapping - it's over boys! Asznee picks up the submission victory!
