The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Masters.

Law bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Law shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Law was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Law wants to stand but Masters is controlling his arm.
Masters tries to bench press Law off him but Law keeps the position.
Masters sneaks back into half guard.

Masters is pressing down on Law's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Law slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Law is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Masters has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Law is looking to defend but Masters has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Law! Masters pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Law taps out and this one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Chad Masters started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

I think Kunkel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bubbles - Bidibodi Bidibu. The key to victory for Uli Kunkel has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Pspic takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Pspic thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hijikata if he has to take too many more of those.
Pspic looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Pspic has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Holding Cell in the buildup to the fight.
Hijikata lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Tanaka wants to clinch up but Chatillon keeps it at a distance.
Chatillon closes the distance and clinches up with Tanaka, looking for a takedown. Chatillon pushes Tanaka against the cage but Tanaka circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tanaka throws a leg kick but Chatillon sees it coming and checks it nicely.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tanaka has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
