Gomu feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Brown sprawling to the canvas! Brown rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gomu finish him?!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brown, as that shot connected.

Brown lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Gomu head around and knocks him out cold! Brown hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Slice wants to stand up but Zaitsev is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zaitsev fires out a quick counter leg kick but Slice just manages to avoid it.
Slice avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Slice scoring well with a low kick there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zaitsev moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Zaitsev feints and then cracks Slice's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Slice down.

Slice throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zaitsev sees it coming and avoids it easily.

enabling Zaitsev to counter with a crisp jab.

A countering left hand to the body from Slice misses.
Slice thuds his right hand into Zaitsev's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Slice's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Zaitsev fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Slice checks it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dmitri Zaitsev will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Zaitsev's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result.
Slice lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Zaitsev is rocked!
Slice cracks Zaitsev with a left hook right on the temple and Zaitsev goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Slice lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Zaitsev is OK!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kimbo Slice!
