Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Vale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Makonnen Amore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vale comes to the cage accompanied by Motorhead-Iron Fist . I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Makonnen Amore was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Bixby shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bixby showed some decent athleticism there.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Abrams tries to get to full guard but Bixby has control of the leg.
Bixby looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Abrams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Buzz Bixby showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bixby connects with a combination that backs up Abrams into the cage. Bixby lands a flurry of punches that gets past Abrams's guard. Abrams is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Bixby bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

After winning the bout, Buzz Bixby thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
