McCarthy lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Apache backs up against the cage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Apache looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Apache is trying hard to land a takedown here. McCarthy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Apache has been working on his balance at Kalashnikov MMA Gym ($500/Week - Elite Coaching, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by McCarthy.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McCarthy has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Taylor wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Solomin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pettaway walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Solomin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Solomin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Pettaway lands with a kick to the temple. Solomin shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Solomin cracks Pettaway with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Pettaway falls to his knees and Solomin doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

We've been told by Creed's head coaches at River's Edge Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Creed bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Ithome seems to have recovered his senses.
Ithome tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Creed cracks Ithome with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ithome tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Creed pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ithome is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Duckworth throws a right and a left that Peavris avoids nicely.
Peavris feinted there with a counter leg kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Duckworth has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Duckworth drops his hands momentarily and Peavris takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Desmond Duckworth has been cut.
Peavris throws a nice looking combination but Duckworth bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
