Gomez does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Marston doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Gomez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Marston was well out of range. Poor timing from Gomez.
Marston appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Gomez misses with a head kick.
The fighters circling - Gomez throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Marston lands a slapping body shot.
Marston checks a low kick from Gomez.
Marston doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Marston connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Marston rushes Gomez with punches - Gomez moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Gomez goes down! Marston follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lucas Marston!
Lucas Marston very nearly forgot to thank Sun-Tzu amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
