2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wayne Barret! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Szeth Vallano! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and Columbo Gatti.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vallano throws a hook but Barret avoids it easily. Barret tries to bum rush Vallano with a series of wild strikes but Vallano uses good footwork to avoid the assault. It seemed like Vallano was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A looping hook to the body misses from Vallano. Barret does a little dance to reset his feet. The fighters circling - Vallano throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Barret throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vallano. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Vallano! But no joy. Vallano has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
 It looks like Szeth Vallano has been cut. Vallano on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Barret keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vallano. Barret throws a sloppy head kick and Vallano moves out of range easily. Vallano swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Wayne Barret seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barret is looking to clinch. Vallano scores with the left hand. Barret knows he should have avoided that one. Barret fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vallano has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vallano throws a lazy right hand but Barret sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Vallano throws a lazy right hand but Barret sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A slow jab from Vallano misses its intended target. Barret ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. As Vallano looks to move away, Barret throws a big counter combo but Vallano just gets out of the way. Vallano throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Barret looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Barret tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vallano paws at him with a jab and circles away. A little jabbing left from Vallano on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. A head kick from Barret lands but Vallano takes it in his stride. Barret fails in his attempt to clinch.

Barret swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barret takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Barret lands with an uppercut that bounces Vallano off the cage and back into range. Barret throws a body shot but no joy. Barret tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vallano manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Barret tries to clinch up but Vallano circles away and keeps his distance. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Vallano! But no joy. Barret throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

The fighters circle, before Barret throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Vallano's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Barret lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Saunders eats them both and turns towards Tahere to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Saunders wants to clinch up but Tahere keeps it at a distance. Saunders moves forwards but Tahere connects with a nice, crisp jab. Tahere lands a jab to the head.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dagher, as that shot connected.
 It looks like George Abalajon has been cut. Abalajon takes a swing at Dagher's ribcage but misses. Abalajon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dagher. Abalajon looks like he wants to counter punch here. Dagher throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dagher is trying to get back to his feet but Abalajon has full control of the position and if anything, Dagher has just worked his way into a worse spot. A bit of a pause in the action here. Abalajon controlling the positon. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! and Abalajon counters with a three punch combo that has Dagher backing up. Dagher nods at Abalajon to acknowledge the strikes. Abalajon dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Dagher feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Abalajons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Dagher throws a head kick that misses and Abalajon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A head kick misses from Dagher. Abalajon swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. We've been told by Dagher's head coaches at The Factory that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Dagher looks to land a right hand but Abalajon moved out of range. Dagher tries to clinch but Abalajon is having none of it. Asmar Dagher is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dagher lands with a slapping head kick.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Freire throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Spencer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Spencer scores with a shot to the body.
Freire misses with a hook. Spencer ducked under it nicely. A punch lands to the side of Spencer 's head but he takes it in his stride. Spencer lands with a nice combination. Freire backs away looking to recover. Spencer slips under a jab from Freire. Freire throws a looping overhand right but Spencer ducks down to avoid it. It looked like Spencer was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Freire. Spencer lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Freire steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Spencer. A combination from Freire does no damage. Spencer throws a nice looking combination but Freire bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Freire! But no joy. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! I was talking to Spencer's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Freire is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Freire swings wildly with an uppercut but Spencer uses good head movement to avoid it. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Spencer to score with a decent uppercut. Spencer is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Freire keeping full guard, as Spencer tries to pass. Patricio Freire has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Freire throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Mark Spencer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Spencer wants to control from the top but Freire keeps moving. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Spencer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Freire is proving hard to escape from.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Spencer showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Spencer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dennis Nilsen! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Russell Pearce and Alyssa Summers.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Xll misses with a head kick.
Xll misses with a straight left. A telegraphed right hand from Nilsen misses the target. Xll gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Xll steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nilsen. Xll seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Nilsen throws a lazy right hand but Xll sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Xll throws a big counter combination but Nilsen scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Xll with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nilsen to score with a decent uppercut. Xll staying out of range there. Xll looks to land a right hand but Nilsen moved out of range.
Nilsen feints and as Xll raises his hands in defense, Nilsen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Xll trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Nilsen trying to control the position from guard on top but Xll is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nilsen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Xll's guard. Xll tries to get to full guard but Nilsen has control of the leg. Nilsen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Xll does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Xll is refusing to be controlled, as Nilsen sits in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Xll is looking to regain full guard.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ericsson misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Defoe to counter with a crisp jab. Defoe lands with a straight right. Ericsson didn't see that one coming. Ericsson wants to slow Defoe down by chopping away at his legs. Defoe takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ericsson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Defoe. Defoe throws a right and a left that Ericsson avoids nicely. Defoe connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Defoe tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Defoe pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Defoe tries to clinch there but Ericsson circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Good work by Defoe as he checks the leg kick. That was a close round but I would say that Menace Defoe will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ericsson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Defoe manages to avoid it. Defoe tries to clinch up.  That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ericsson tries to roll over but Defoe keeps him under control. Ericsson trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cole creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Mason will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Cole up against the cage. Mason lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cole or not. Mason looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Mason wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Dean Mason dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Cole scores with a nice head shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mason connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Mason does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Cole fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Cole throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

 Mason is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice body punch from Cole - that landed with a thud.
Oh Mason is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cole throws a big uppercut that drops Mason! More strikes from Cole and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Mason lies dazed against the cage as Cole celebrates with his cornermen!
