The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shaam postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Bogtrotter on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Bogtrotter doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ciprianni thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Army if he has to take too many more of those.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Army lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ciprianni has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ciprianni and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Ciprianni is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Army with a body shot.
Army tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ciprianni manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It seemed like Ciprianni was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Army fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ciprianni looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Danny Ciprianni.
I think Ciprianni has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Neculai Costel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoel Palacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Costel comes into the arena with Ain't No Sunshine blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Palacio closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Costel quickly recovers to half guard.
