Knott misses with a series of wild punches.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Knott has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
McLarnin throws a series of punches but Knott moves out of range.

McLarnin gets underhooks to prevent Knott's takedown attempt.
Knott has McLarnin pressed against the cage, preventing McLarnin from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Wickam shoots in looking for a takedown. Akki tries to sprawl out of it but Wickam keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Akki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wickam looks to throw the jab but Akki is out of range.
Akki connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

We've been told by Akki's head coaches at Boston MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
