The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bogtrotter fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Smith has picked Bogtrotter up - he's going for a ride! Smith dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Smith connects with a nice short shot to Bogtrotter's temple.
Oh Bogtrotter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Bogtrotter quite badly. Bogtrotter pulls Smith in close trying to recover. Smith postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Bogtrotter on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Bogtrotter doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Malkolm is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Watannabe doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Malkolm.

Malkolm is working for a kimura but Watannabe is defending it quite comfortably.
Malkolm frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Malkolm jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

We've been hearing good reports from Chamba's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Irving really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chamba. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chamba misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
