Rodriguez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Weeks, who protects the arm well.
Rodriguez wants to stand but Weeks is controlling his arm.

Rodriguez swings around for an armbar but Weeks sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Rodriguez's guard.
Weeks wants to control from the top but Rodriguez keeps moving.

Weeks stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Rodriguez throws up his legs and catches Weeks in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Weeks tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Rodriguez! That came out of nowhere!

Arnolf Karstark spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Pulu lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Cooper up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Pulu from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Cooper's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dallas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Palmer.

Palmer dives in and scores a takedown into Dallas's guard.

Dallas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Palmer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rutger Svensson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
