That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Maxim Mailov.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mailov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Elliott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Teixeira tries to avoid it but Elliott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Teixeira to the ground. Teixeira escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

No joy there for Teixeira, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Elliott looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Teixeira swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Elliott.
Elliott get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Elliott stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Teixeira runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Jones creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Wigley with a big uppercut!
