The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Speed smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Speed fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vice manages to avoid it.
Speed dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vice. That did some damage!

Speed throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vice sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Speed finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

so Vice counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Vice looking to sit in guard and control but Speed gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Vice looking to hit a scissor sweep but Speed is one step ahead there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Speed postures up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Speed accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Vice had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Speed defends it easily.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Speed lands a nice short elbow.
Vice has a hand on Speed's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Speed takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Speed lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Vice tries to reverse the position but Speed maintains control.
Vice bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Vice missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Miami Vice has got the better of the ground game so far.
Speed manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Speed lands a big shot there that rocks Vice but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Speed wants to control the pace but Vice is squirming around nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vice is trying desperately to improve position.

Daniel Speed showed his dominance in that final round.

Miami Vice decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
