Undercard bout

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dude Love (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Diaz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Trick Daddy - Let's Go ft Twista & Lil Jon. Love has chosen Imagine as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 28 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oscar Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Love tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diaz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Love somewhat.
Love dives in for a single leg takedown but Diaz sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Diaz turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Diaz manages to end up in side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Snow cracks Delta with a right hand to the side of the head.
Delta fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Snow stuffs the takedown attempt from Delta. Delta gets slowly back to his feet.
Duece Delta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Delta closes this distance looking for a takedown but Snow circles away.
Lorenzo Snow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duece Delta.

Snow's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lorenzo Snow.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Delta crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Snow - the referee stops the clock and Delta gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Snow. Delta manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Delta dives in and grabs Snow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Snow pushes down on Delta's head and hops out.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Delta with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Snow to score with a decent uppercut.
Delta shoots in but no luck this time.
Snow lunges at Delta with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Delta's hand.

Snow drops Delta with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Delta looks back up at him and smiles so Snow waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Snow closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Delta out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

An out of breath Lorenzo Snow thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

Piper is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Piper is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Satan defends it well.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Uriel Amok.
