4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brian Tombo! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tombo lands a nice shot to the body.
Nice defenses there by McGuiness. Tombo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tombo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A combination from Tombo does no damage. McGuiness checks the leg kick nicely there.

McGuiness gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Tombo is looking to take this one to the mat. Tombo is working for takedown but McGuiness is calmly controlling the position for now. Tombo is trying to drag McGuiness to the mat but McGuiness just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Mannix McGuiness has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Tombo.
McGuiness has hold of one of Tombo's legs. Tombo is fighting the takedown attempt but McGuiness gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. McGuiness postures up in Tombo's guard and throws a big left but Tombo blocks it. McGuiness throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tombo works some decent striking defense from the bottom. McGuiness working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. McGuiness cracks Tombo with a solid left hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McGuiness throwing strikes but missing.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McGuiness accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson misses with a looping left. A lazy left from Fisher finds it's target. Fisher throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bruno tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Laar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bruno avoids the body shot from Laar.

Laar tries to land a front kick but Bruno steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Laar lands with a slapping head kick.
 It looks like Johann Bruno has been cut. Laar throws a push kick but Bruno slaps the foot to one side. A solid body kick from Laar. Arvo Laar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bruno is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A head kick misses from Laar. Laar scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Laar throws a sloppy head kick and Bruno moves out of range easily. Laar looks to throw a body kick and Bruno counters with a series of strikes. Laar will be more careful next time no doubt. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bruno tries to clinch there but Laar circles away.

That was a close round but I would say that Arvo Laar will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Johann Bruno's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Bruno has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Laar. Laar feints and then cracks Bruno's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bruno down. Bruno fails in his attempt to clinch. Laar has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Nice body kick from Laar. Bruno on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Arvo Laar is winning the standup battle so far.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Laar throws a sloppy head kick and Bruno moves out of range easily. Bruno has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Laar. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Laar - that will leave a mark!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Breneman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Milanovic sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Milanovic tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Breneman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Milanovic's guard. Breneman tries to free his leg and advance position but Milanovic is retaining full guard. Breneman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Milanovic punching from the bottom. Breneman looking to pass the guard. Breneman slips nicely into half guard. Breneman looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Breneman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Milanovic blocking the ground and pound attempt from Breneman. Breneman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Milanovic gets back to full guard.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Gotti. Those never looked like landing.
Gotti lands a left and a right that send Ishida crashing to the mat, dazed. Gotti thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ishida changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gotti tries to avoid it but Ishida manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gotti to the ground. Gotti escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gotti lands with a right hand.
Gotti feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ishida sprawling to the canvas! Ishida rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gotti finish him?!
 Ishida is rocked! Gotti looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Oh Ishida is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ishida scores with a jab to the body. Ishida is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ishida seems to have got his legs back now. Ishida shoots in for a double leg but Gotti sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ishida dodges the punch combination from Gotti.

Jimmy Gotti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gotti scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

That's going to take a lot out of him. A left lands for Gotti. Gotti lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ishida backs up against the cage.

He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Ishida throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gotti's waist but Gotti gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ishida off to one side. Ishida fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gotti avoids it really well and circles away.
Ishida gets a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Gotti wants to control but Ishida is keeping busy.
Ishida throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Gotti is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Ishida moves nicely into side control. Ishida misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Gotti is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ishida asserts his dominance and retains side control. Ishida throws an elbow but Gotti slips to the side and avoids it well. Ishida working the head and body with strikes. Gotti dodges the ground and pound from Ishida. Ishida creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Ishida staying calm. Ishida tries to advance to mount but Gotti denies him. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Gotti dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ishida uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gotti.

Gotti throws a nice looking combination but Ishida bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ishida fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gotti avoids it really well and circles away. Ishida staying out of range there. Jimmy Gotti seems to be getting the better of the standup.

 We're going to have a standup here because Mitsuhiro Ishida wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. A head kick misses from Gotti.

Ishida controlling the pace. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Courchesne shoots for a takedown but Maniac saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Courchesne lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Courchesne lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Maniac really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Maniac throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Courchesne.

Bart Maniac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonathan Courchesne. A nice leg kick lands there from Courchesne. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Courchesne lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Maniac has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Maniac and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Maniac misses with a leg kick. Maniac is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jane throws a shot to the body.
Jane lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Jane throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Cafe is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jane. Cafe shrugs it off though. Cafe steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jane. That one must have hurt. Jane connects with a body shot. Cafe takes a shot right to the bread basket. A kick lands to the mid section there for Jane. Jane lands with a nice body kick. Jane punishes Cafe's body with a nice straight punch. Jane jabs Cafe to the body, keeping him at a distance. Cafe takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A head kick from Jane lands but Cafe takes it in his stride. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cafe is defended easily by Jane. Jane swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Tracy throws out a loose jab but Garcia uses good head movement to avoid it. Garcia connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.  Lazarus is rocked! Carlin creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Lazarus's defenses. Oh Lazarus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Carlin takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Carlin putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Lazarus in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Carlin lands a big knee to the head and Lazarus goes down! Carlin pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
