Robertson throws a push kick but Royer slaps the foot to one side.
Robertson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Royer moves away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Robertson. Royer does a little dance to reset his feet.

Oh Robertson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Royer fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Robertson out cold! Brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Dakota Royer!
Dakota Royer opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Lange's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fire - Bruce Springsteen. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
