Hoehne has his foot on Fitzgerald's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fitzgerald works his way back into a safe position though.
Fitzgerald sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hoehne's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

enabling Silva to counter with a crisp jab.
Numan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Numan off to one side.
Numan throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Numan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Radoslaw Numan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Numan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Silva lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Numan out cold! Numan is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Daniel Silva is the new bantamweight champion!
After the fight, Daniel Silva was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
