The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Killer gets caught flat footed, as Saracen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Saracen pushes down on Killer's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Saracen seems to be working for a kimura but Killer defends the submission attempt.
Killer tries to kick Saracen off but Saracen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Saracen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Killer defends it well.
Killer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Saracen on the ground.

Saracen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Saracen wants to work for an arm triangle but Killer is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Saracen jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Killer is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Killer and Saracen has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
